| The Neighbourhood Learning Centre or The Log Cabin as it is also referred to is a well known establishment based in Penygarn, Torfaen. After the construction of the building finished in 2009, it has continued to positively develop over the years by promotion of courses and events. The NLC is an organistation which aims to improve lives of low incomed families and help encourage young people stay away from crime. | The main goal of the NLC is to help enable the Community to reach its full potential, by running a wide range of educational and sporting activities through the week to gain new qualifications or improve on the skills they already have. | British Red Cross The WFL has embarked on an new initiative in partnership with British Red Cross. Offering seven young people aged between 16 to 18 years paid working placements, to increase their skills and experience as a route to fulltime employment. |
